Privacy Policy

Moving Remote is a small editorial site. The privacy story here is short because there is very little to tell.

What we collect

Nothing personal. The site does not have user accounts, login forms, comment sections, or newsletter sign-ups. We do not run analytics that identify individuals.

The web server (Apache) records standard access logs that include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page you visited, and the user agent string sent by your browser. These logs are kept for a limited period (under 90 days) for the sole purpose of diagnosing technical problems and detecting abuse. They are not used to build profiles or to track readers across visits.

What we do not do

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any third-party tracking script. We do not run advertising. We do not run affiliate programs that drop cookies on your browser. We do not share any data with third parties.

If those things ever change, this page will be updated and a clear notice will appear on every affected article.

Cookies

The site does not set tracking cookies. See the Cookies page for the short list of strictly necessary cookies, if any are added in the future.

External links

Articles may link to other websites — most often goingspanish.com and globalmedplan.com, which are run by the same author. Once you click an external link, the destination site has its own privacy policy and we are no longer responsible for what happens there.

Your rights

Because the site does not collect personal data, there is no profile for you to access, correct, or delete. If you have a question about this policy, you can write to the address listed on the Contact page.

Hosting and jurisdiction

The site is hosted in the European Union and the operator is based in Spain. The site complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish privacy law (Ley Orgánica 3/2018, LOPDGDD).
